Good Morning
Hope you’re well and enjoying the festivities…
It’s been one busy year filled up with 25 gigs across London and South East England, 1 festival in Aylesbury, 1 radio interview with MIX96FM, 4 radio airplays with PulseRated.com, 2 press cuttings in the Herald Bucks, internet exposure galore, and an opinion piece article in The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters. HerShow went to London, Brighton, Cheltenham, and Aylesbury where you showed the utmost support.
HerStory is already starting to make bigger breakthroughs for 2008 and it’s all because of you. Thank you TheirSay I am indebted to you.
And it’s not just the fans I’m talking about, this a massive thanks to the people who put it all together and create the magic…from Stuart Robb organising the Aylesbury Festival, MIX96FM interview and Herald Bucks coverage; to Tony, Laura and The Bedford Team for their ongoing support; and then the newer additions to HerTeam: Natalie from Fopp, Jrink and World’s End; Laurence Hobb from the Living Room and Betsy’s; Jeff from the Playhouse; Aaron Short from Bullet Bar; Peter Christopherson for the 2008 Guildford line-up; the Brighton boys; Mr Fishlock from BACS; Craig Mitchell for Clapham’s Smoke Rooms, the brilliant Vince Freeman who lets me shine down in Gloucestershire and to everyone for the sound advice along the way! You guys make it happen for me – ta muchly, mwah!
So what’s next?! What is the big plan for 2008??? Well, I’m going to have a band for the bigger gigs…yes, you’ve all been saying it and the time has come. There are new songs which are co-written with the wonderful Laurence Hobb, this also means even longer sets and new recordings and in January HerShow starts with a big bang and I can’t wait to share it with you 🙂
As HerStory moves onto the next chapter, I reminisce on a moment when I couldn’t figure out how to coordinate playing piano whilst singing…that was just a mere 5 years ago…and it seems so simple to do now, like what was I ever afraid of?! So you see, it’s all possible, we’ve just gotta move on up and right outta here to do it and then just keep on rocking!
With much love from me to you, have a good rest over Christmas and see you in 2008!
