On the Outside
It’s a new encounter each time. Every single time. From the moment stepping on stage, to the moment you see an enticing twitter feed to retweet, to the picture-perfect selfie on Instagram, to the touching moment holding a hand in the audience. It’s always a new moment, a new discovery, fresh start meeting you. I watch you finding a moment to let go, loose control, be everything you feel, simply be. Your expression, applause, kind word, screaming love-you-Lisa, that simple smile…That sets me free. Music is my freedom.
Knowing I can do all that, makes me soar with an inner peace only found on mountains, in oceans and with butterflies. It’s my NeverNeverLand, wonderland, my place of magic. A happy place.
On the Inside
You do not like me bossy, confident, meticulous and hardworking. However you will like me successful. This is what it takes. I am a warrior, unafraid to be, stand for what counts, to make a difference. I’m my own boss, sometimes that’s not so pretty! Hahaha :>
Everybody’s an expert when you are creating your masterpiece. The difference between each person is how success is measured. Some celebrate pebble by pebble, others step by step, others building by building. If only the focus stayed on you; your improvement, your failure, your setback, your milestone. However, it is human nature to constantly compare, keep up with Jones’ and have favourites. In this moment you forget it’s only your race, your pace to finish your race. You can win if you keep moving forward.
I feel that when all we have is judgement, competition and agenda – we lose momentum and purpose. Of course it’s good to know what is trending, and what does work. But what is more important than originality? The ultimate inventor, to set a new trend, be a leader. Create you, your product, your brand with senseless determination to be and do, just that.
So Far…
The first part of the year has had much emphasis on all the above. Every moment created is a captured story of determination, doubt, control-freakiness, love, greatness, hope, FOMO, 24/7 and exhilaration…
