Happy Tuesday! Hope the weekend blues are behind you and are ready to take on whatever comes your way.
To begin the week, thought I’d catch up with you on the last few weeks.
After a pretty intense first part of 2015, I ended June with performances at Carnival City, Mabalingwe Nature Reserve – VRS and a few winter-warmer private parties. Special thanks to Robin and Willie’s team from Mabalingwe, Celia from Smashing Promotions for booking us at Carnival and Annick & Michael for looking after us at the 50th bash!
The greatest part of my career is connecting with people and forming long-lasting relationships from the places I travel to. I could create none of this wonderfulness without the most incredibly talented pool of musicians I’m privileged to work with. I am so very blessed!
Squeezing in a tiny break to Cape Town in June, I landed back fresh and ready to take on whatever was coming next and it didn’t disappoint.
My single #ReallyDoesntMatter was released in January http://bit.ly/iTunesGoldin and the support from East Coast Radio, SA Charts, Grazia Magazine, The Grand White Dinner Events, including my ongoing clients has been mind-blowing – thank you very much. There’s just something incredibly exciting about hearing yourself on radio, and I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to this but guess I’ll need to, hahaha!
As mentioned in last month’s blog, SA Charts nominated me as Number 1 #EmergingSATop20 Artist for two weeks in a row, and I’ve now spent seven out of eight weeks in the Top10. What an honour to be recognised for the job I love doing! Thank you to everyone who is part of this magic :>
To promote the new single and after being named Number 1 #EmergingSATop20 Artist in South Africa I’m partnering with an incredible PR team, Uproar Communications, to manage press, communications and events.
Nthabiseng Selaledi and her team set-up an interview on Cliff Central with Siya Sangweni-Fynn for South Africa’s Untapped Talent last Friday.

Right now I’m currently writing new material, recording new songs at David Gresham Records’ studios and rehearsing for the following upcoming shows. The biggie is to join us at Craft Beer, Wine & Food Fair on 1st August where Lisa Goldin won a place on the Main Stage for her band to perform.
