The love on my eighth single “How Love Can Start” has left me so smiley. I do not know where to even start on the gratitude for your hearts on my lil song. Heartful of beautiful, teary thanks <3
Literally I have a major panic attack before pressing the “okay PR, tell me what your ears hear, from an industry, in-the-know perspective….” No jokes I freak out every time! It’s so contradictory; from confident in studio OMG this is it, to …wahhhhhhhh help! Anyway, I am still in disbelief of the beautiful touches and and takes journalists wrote….tears, and thanks! Here’s reminiscing from 2020’s first release on air to 2025….thank YOU!!!

I always say “you just do not know what song is going to sit with the audience” and in the same breath, I am sooooooooo glad I trusted my gut to not disregard my songwriting when people, “music industry people” that I trusted with my art, adamantly told me, that I was not good enough and my works were not good enough to make the cut. I will never understand their gain and nor do I now care. Regardless, I took these songs back in full right, co-produced them with an incredible producer that I trust with my life. Then placed it into the hands of radio and TV in South Africa, UAE, UK and USA…and slowly each song reached new heights. Grateful much?! You have no idea. Every step is everything to me. My entire life has been about proving my worth and being the underdog; from family to career to lovelife. It’s okay. Ari is right; thank you to my therapists and the gays :> Exactly, quite frankly.
Maybe I sound clichéd, but I hope my music finds you, heals the broken parts and helps you love again…or simply touches your heart. Because more than ever this world needs all the love impossible, nevermind mission:impossible.
Hope you make my show on the 25th and if we are world’s apart, you are here in my heart! Always remember to say hiiiii!
Shout out to Livia Pye for doing amazing things with your music, I am so glad you were inspired from our chat many moons ago to find your signature sound. Your message in turn inspired me to keep going this year…when it all got a lil tough. Sorry I didn’t reply sooner.
