Dearest Fans

This is probably my all time record of NOT blogging for quite some time! Well it’s good to be back with plenty of news :>

Since arriving back in South Africa I’ve been performing and working on songwriting ventures. It is one of the best moves I have made and so happy being in my home country singing my BIG ole heart out!

In August I kicked off with a songwriting showcase at one of Joburg’s best venues Tanz Live with 50 of my family and friends routing for me. T’was glorious I tell you…especially with John Fresk on keys so I could sing, dance and front the show.

Then shortly after I rehearsed relentlessly for the Barnyard Theatre stage production called Surf’s Up. In the last two months it’s been a HUGE growth spurt carefully nailing performances each night for various audiences at the Parkview Pretoria venue with eight other mighty talents. I’m so grateful to Duck Chowles for giving me this opportunity! So here I stand after the nightly fifteen costume changes, five solos/duets and ten chorus numbers with choreography…let alone the hair and make-up. And it’s real fab theatre life with crowds cheering, stomping, dancing and clapping away. Needless to say I am happy. On Wednesday 23 October we head to Willowbridge Theatre in Cape Town until 31 December 2013. Find out more and book your tickets here: http://www.barnyardtheatre.co.za/show.aspx?sid=311.

In all my spare moments I’ve been actively working on songwriting ventures…and who knows what the not too distance future holds…but have a feeling it’s gonna be reeeaaaalll goood!

Very chuffed to have kept fan numbers growing and growing…thank you very much everyone for the unending belief in me :>

More to come on Cape Town, new songs and movements!

Love, light & happiness
